Momma's Got A New Slipcover....,

My Mommy made it for me! For free!

The fabric is a cotton duck and it cost $27....can't beat that!

Now all of the furniture is getting a new cover! Woo Hoo!

.....But then I'll have to paint the walls....
and the woodwork, of course.

And I'm going to need new silk curtains, I'm afraid.

You know how it goes, don't you internets?

Yes, you do.

Your mom is the best! And I do know how it goes, you change one stinking switchplate and end up redoing the whole room.

The slipcover looks great! I need to hone my (nearly nonexistent) sewing skills for things like that. It saves so much money!

If you get new curtains then you'll need new throw rugs and if you get new throw rugs, you'll need new pillows, and if you get new pillows....arggh..this is exhausting...

I am LOVING that chest..if you want to send it to me, I won't be mad at ya...xoxo

I love it! You are so lucky to have a mom that can whip that up for you.

I totally get it...when I put the new headboard in the guest room, every thing else in the room looked like crap. More projects...

It looks great! You are so lucky to have such a talented mom. Slipcovers are hard to make and spendy! Yes, I know what you mean, one thing...leads to another. Oh well, what else do we have to do?
