I know, I know.....

...I've been terribly absent from ye ole blog.

But Dudes.  I've been busy, you know?  Super-busy.

And I wish I had some photos of all of this 'busy' to show you, but I don't.

Do you know why?

2 reasons:

     1. Still no freaking camera software.  And not for lack of trying.  I think we need a new computer, folks.

     2. Because we are not yet done painting every blessed item in my Mom's condo.  There is nothing in that place that won't end up painted.

But wait until you see it!!!  Just painting the woodwork made such a huge difference!

I'll give you a little preview of what we're doing:

The woodwork is Swiss Coffee by Behr:

The moving parts of the windows and the sliding door is Iron Ore by Sherwin Williams:

but we had it color-matched in Behr's Premium Plus Ultra paint (the kind with the primer built in).

Just try and imagine these colors on the patio doors in the living room:

Can you imagine?

I will try and get actual photographic evidence of my work on Saturday.  I promise.

So, between working at work, traveling for work and working at my Mom's, I'm all tapped out, sisters.  I'm a puddle of goo.

What are you working on?

Can't wait for photographic evidence of your painting! If we stay in this apartment another year, I think I'm going to break down and paint. I can't stand this rental blah much longer.

Hi Girls!

Oh, Daniela, there is no mirror in my Mom's place. Thank God. I'd have to look at myself every time I'd turn around. And if I'd have to do that? I'd end up leaving as soon as I got there.

Michelle...PAINT! It's such a picker-upper!!

We just painted a bunch of stuff in my "new" office Swiss Coffee, same paint! Love the color! BUT, now we are on a SERIOUS house hunt. The boys house goes on the market Monday which means that we need to move! I have missed your posts, can't wait for the pics. Did you try downloading the SW from the cameras website?

Very good color choices. I'm curious about the Behr paint with the built-in primer. Just yesterday, I paid twenty something dollars for a quart of the Benjamin Moore Aura exterior semi-gloss for my outside chairs. That's a lot of money for a little bit of paint. One nice thing I've noticed so far is that it is very forgiving of my sloppy painting. But, I don't like spending that much on paint, so I'm wanting to hear about the Behr product.

Oh, good, you're back! I can't believe you still can't find the camera software.. wouldn't you think somebody would have it online somewhere? I've been puttering, spending a lot of time staring at the t i n y living room that has four openings (three doors and a pass-through to the kitchen) trying to figure out what the room wants to *be. It doesn't function well as a living room so maybe it wants to be a library? Or... beats me. Also cracking the whip on dear daughter as SATs loom in three weeks (did you know we homeschool?) and cooking large amounts of festive spring food (asparagus, rhubarb, new potatoes...)

You are forgiven! Can't wait to see the after shots of your Mom's place. The Home Depot Lady told me that Swiss Coffee is the most popular white they sell. I bought a gallon but it was too dark for my paneling and put it in our new walk in closet instead. I really loved it though and it works great in the closet.

I, as with the other girls, have missed you and your usual hyjinks around here, lady.

Oh, I can't wait to see this make-over unfold...!
What am I working on?
A mountain of laundry and trying to avoid raiding the cupboard.
I wish I could pretend it was more glamorous than that!
