Community Supported Agriculture

Good Morning everyone!

I have to go to work today, but I had to do a little research before I go. You see, some gals at work approached me about going in together on a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share. I've been wanting to do this for years, but a share by myself is a little spendy. Plus, I'd be the only one in my family eating the stuff, I'll bet. Anyway, there are three of us going in on a share together, so I'm really excited!

I found a farm that works with developmentally disabled adults and they have a bakery and meats available for sale as well. I hope they have some shares left!

So, go ahead! Google "Community Supported Agriculture" in your neck of the woods!

It's a good thing.

Boy. That was a shameless rip-off of the other Martha, wasn't it??

That is AWESOME!!! I would love to get into CSA, but we wouldn't be able to use all of an individual share in a week. Instead, we go to the farmer's market in the summer. I'm so glad that others out there are supporting organic & local farmers. So important!

Wow, I had never heard of this before. I even found one in my area for just flowers . . . I would totally do that. I love to go to Farmers' Market every week to get fresh flowers.

That is really a great idea. I look forward to hearing more about it.
