Name Game.....

So - My buddy, Kim, from Vintage Pretties tagged me for this cute little name game. Here are the rules:

Players, you must list one fact that is somehow relevant to your life for each letter of your middle name. If you don’t have a middle name, use the middle name you would have liked to have had. When you are tagged you need to write your own blog post containing your own middle name game facts. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose one person for each letter of your middle name to tag. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Okay, I'm not going to use my middle name. It's too unique and since I'm already idiot-enough to have my last name in my email (I've been meaning to change this for sometime.....), I'm going to just use my first name for this . The rules say to pick a middle name you'd like to have, but I don't want to think that hard.

Here it goes:

M - Minivan. I always hated them. Hated the way they looked, hated the way they were always going so slowly in the fast lane, hatedhatedhated them. Well.....of course now I have one. Zuddy made me do it. Now I love the stupid thing. Love it. For the next car I get, I want a totally pimped-out-soccer-mom-bee-otch version of the one I have now. Oh, yeah baybee.

A - Auto-pilot. I'm on auto-pilot a LOT. The other day? I drove to the neighborhood coffee shop totally on auto-pilot. I drove past the shop. Parked right in front of the shop and walked in the door. When I looked up and there was NOTHING in there. Well, except for the construction worker GUTTING the place. So he looks at me, smiling and and I stomp my foot a little bit and say, "What.... no coffee?" Then he points me to the new location across the parking lot.
I'm such an idiot.

R - Reading. The Noodle took a reading class this summer at a nearby college. I love to read. I had to stop for a while in college and when the Noodle was a baby because I can't put books down once I start reading them - I ignore everything once I pick up a book. One of the many ways I show my little compulsions. Right now the Noodle and I are starting on the Little House series. She loves it!

T - Thursday night is Zuddy's night out. He doesn't come home after work and gets to do whatever he wants. My night out is Wednesday. We had to devise this after having a very colicky Noodle. I highly recommend this little agreement to all families. Everyone needs time to do
their thing, you know?

H - Happy. I'm usually very happy and tend to steer away from unhappy people. Life's too short, people, and I've gotta laugh.

A - Autumn. My favoritefavoritefavorite time of year. I love everything about it - rainy, gloomy days. Sunny, chilly days (like today...54 degrees). Honey Crisp apples. Ornamental kale. Mums. I could go on and on......

That's it! Now I want to tag, the Tattered Nest, Mrs. Jones, Penny, and the Garage Gourmet.

My blemish-free countertops are coming on Monday. Then I'll be able to do some tiling. I think I'm going to take a class and try doing it myself.

And thanks to everyone who gave me advice about the tile! I really needed it....

Oh. And I have some earth-shattering news.

I haven't been blogging much because I've been seeing someone - we only meet for a few hours on Thursdays, usually. It's totally platonic, but we are really starting to connect. I'm totally crushing on this guy....and I can't stop thinking about him. And you know what? I'm not even feeling the least bit guilty. I need a little excitement in my life. I'm not doing anything wrong. Zuddy knows him and thinks he's pretty cool, too.

More later! We're going to Comales (Ricardo's restaurant) for dinner tonight! Have a great weekend!

I answered your tag!

Two of my good friends are guys. They are DH's friends too, but one of them I really connect with. We have similar likes/dislikes, senses of humor, etc. My DH says if anything happens to him we have his permission to get together...lol! :) Men are so silly sometimes.

Oh, you're such a tease. Now I can't wait to find out who the mystery man is. ;-)

Thanks for tagging me. I'll try to post it this week, but I'm actually working a day and a half this week! This will be a shock to my system as I haven't worked a big girl job in 8 years! yikes!
