Stencils

Boy,

Have you guys seen this photo?

It's from the Sunny's Good Time Paints website.  There are some awesome stencils on that site, people!  I've never really cared for stencils until I saw some photos of people stenciling their walls instead of wallpapering. Like this one:

Do you love it?

This one is kind of fun, too:

And then, have you been over to jones design company website to see her fabulous office walls?

Wow.  I'm thinking of painting my kitchen walls instead of papering them.  What do you think?

Those are really fun! I like the extra control you have with stenciling. However, if you found a wallpaper you like, that would probably be a lot easier.

Like them, but oh my aching wrists! Either the stenciling or the wallpaper are a big commitment. Me, I am a bit more fickle!

Good to see you again!

I love these, but they seem like sooo much work. I'd totally hire someone to do it for me though..haha

And I totally don't want to jinx it or anything, but I'm with Sarah... I'VE MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!

Great idea. Seems like it would be more fun than wallpapering as well.

It's a lot easier to paint over a stenciled wall than it is to remove wallpaper!

LOVE it, saw something similar. Looking for new ideas, we MOVED. Not to where we thought or were hoping to, but we moved. Glad to see a post from you and I hope you and the noodle are having a good summer!

Missed you lady! I hope that you are having a good summer.

Stencils would take a long time, but would be way cheaper & easier to change than wallpaper.

I like it. I think you should do it so I can live thru you because it looks like too much work for me (smile)

I'm drooling over that black stenciled wall. Gorgeous!

Yes, I was at the Jones place this week and added that tutorial to my to-do list. I'm thinking my guest bathroom. Small room, less work.

Those are beautiful! I want those techniques in my house... um, but I don't want to do it myself... and um, I don't want to pay for it either. Any takers?
