Noodle's Chandy

Sweet Noodle picked a chandy for her room....she settled on the Kristaller from Ikea.

I'm surprised she picked this one out.  It's so traditional...and actually, she wanted one from Pottery Barn, but I told her if she wants a chair in her room, she has to make some sacrifices on lighting. She is such an easy going kid, that this didn't faze her in the least.

Next on the agenda is the Lack sofa table, to be used as a makeup table:
And if you give a Noodle a makeup table, she's going to need a chair to go with it (name that children's book):

Also, the Ektorp chair is just too darn big for her room....she chose the Ektorp Tullsta instead:
That's all for now!  Hope you are all doing well....what have you been up to?

I love all of it! We are thinking of that chandy for Hope's playroom as well.

Makeup table....sniff, sniff...they grow up so fast.

So cute! I'm helping daughter #2 pack for college, and shipping cold weather gear to daughter #1 in Wisconsin, since it's in the (high) 30s at night and she's got some canoe trips planned. When I no longer have piles (of flip flops, fleeces, wool socks, snack foods) all over, I'm overhauling my "entertainment center." It's a 75" wide set of 2 bookcases my dad made which holds all our photo albums, newspapers, some books, and a tv/dvd player. It needs... something. Fresh paint, and less stuff.
