I'm Baaaaaaack

I've been extremely delinquent lately.......in every aspect of my life. It's because of summer, I think. So many little things to do that add up to no time left and nothing much getting done!



Last weekend was my nephew Schmackie's baseball tourneys. The Dude made the winning double play and his team won the tourney.



For the second year in a row.

Here he is with his Dad - my oldest brother.





I'm amazed at how good he is. I know I'm a little biased, but I can totally see how advanced he is in his thinking process while he's playing - especially compared to the other kids. AND he's humble and a really good sport.............which won't continue if I don't quit telling him how amazing and perfect he is.

I'm so proud of him, though! Our whole family is - we all went to as many games as we could and I'm the loudest cheerer there, I tell ya.

Hmmmm.....what else has been going on?

Well, this is kind of cute.....one day the Noodle and I were watching TV after a long day of work (for Zuddy and me) and summer school and swimming (for Noodle). I was snuggling with her on the sofa, almost asleep when an Oreo commercial came on. Have you seen it? It had a bunch of "chin faces" on it. Funny stuff.

Well, it cracked us up!! Zuddy came in the living room to see what we were laughing at and then went and made a face of his own:


Look at the joy on the Noodle's face!!! We were cracking up, I tell ya! I got a couple of close-ups of his chin face, but I was shaking from laughing so hard at the funny mouth shapes he was making, so the pictures are all blurry.

Ooooo! Kitchen news! The measurer for the countertops came on Monday! Yay! Pretty soon! I'll have 'em! Then I can proceed with the rest of the things - namely tiling the backsplash. Can't do that until the countertops are in.

So many other things are going on.......but I won't bore you with the details. Plus, I have a lot of ignored phone calls and emails to return and I need to go pick up my CSA Box!
