Happy Halloween!

Hope you had a good one!

We went 'round and 'round about a costume this year. Noodle always wants some store-bought costume like this one:

As it got closer to Halloween, I finally told her we could think of something a little more zany and original.

I always want her to dress up as a food item.
Because it's all about me.

I especially liked this one from the Food Network website:

She was horrified. She hates the food idea.

Well, how about this one? (I pull this photo out every year. It's from Ladies Home Journal)

I mean come ON!! What's not to love about a fortune cookie on your noggin, huh??

HUH???

So we went here and explored and she finally found one she liked:

It's hard to take a photo of something so shiny, but she was an iPod. With a glowing screen courtesy of many blue glow sticks taped inside her costume. Zuddy was so into it that he did the whole thing. All we had to do was show him a photo.

Later on, our neighbor Jenny came over before going to her Halloween party, dressed up as guess who?

Ah! I love it! Great job Zud! You know I am all about the home-made costumes.

And the octo-mom costume. Wow....
don't even really know what to say about the one. I think the Noodle's face just about sums it up. ;-)

Great costume for the noodle, but OMG! the OctoMom costume is HILARIOUS! Babies falling out down her leg. Too funny.

I love the Chinese take-out costume idea, but Noodle looks pretty darn adorable as an iPod. Great job, Zud!

I'm loving her ipod costume -- cute while being hip.

Bah ha ha ha ha... the Octomom costume is absolutely killing me. I love the woman who dressed up like that. She rules.

Ipod costume is brilliant! I was a clothes dryer once... same cardboard box-different generation.

Way to go Zuddy! Kudos to making that fabulous costume. I love the homemade costumes too...plus...you can make them big enough to wear jackets under them which is a real concern when trick or treating at night here in the northland!

On to Octomom...Love it...Hilarious...I shared the picture with some guys here at the office. My reaction is Hilarious and How Clever, the guys, well, they were mortified and disgusted! Figures!

those poor poor babies,
I gotta go, and get a papertowel to get the coffee off of the screen I spit when I saw that!

Well, I have not read blogs in a long while and I am catching up today. I love your daughters costume!! Great job!! Your neighbor's costume made me throw up in my mouth a little, and that is probably because I saw the pictures of the actual Octo-mom and her costume is right on. Happy New Year!!!
