Gallery Wall, part 2

Here it is...I had to wait until dark to take the photo or else I get more light than my camera can handle!

See those silver platters?  I got them from my Mom.  That crazy kook had them sitting in a closet!  Alone!  Unattended!  Mwwwaaaaha-ha-ha-haaaaa!!!

They were begging to be slapped with one of these:

Have you ever used these before?

I tried to find a plate hanger at Michaels, but there wasn't anything to hold platters as big as my 2 silver foxes.  I know we've all seen these disc hangers advertised on blogs, so I bought a couple.

They're awesome and inexpensive and the website can help you determine what size disc you need for the item you're hanging.  My platters are heavy, so I got the largest discs.

So, does the wall look okay?

The wall looks great...how many holes are hiding behind the artwork???

Looks great! I'm laughing at Janet's comment - I just did a little wall arrangement myself and have a few extra holes to show for it. And those plate holders - super cool.

Well done! It looks great. I've lived here 5 years, and the frames for my gallery wall are piled up under the couch cuz I just can't get motivated to put them up.

oh my god Martha, that wall looks amazing. My poor little new blind kitty and I are going to come and visit and have tea. I LOVE IT.

I think it looks fantastic! I was so impressed that you made the paper shapes for a guideline...I just hammer holes till it looks okay, and I always have more holes than items. :-p

I need to get some of those hangers, I have a stack of saucers and plates just waiting to be hung.

I think your wall looks great-nice job! I've heard them called "London Walls" on other blogs not sure why, but I like the sound of it. I have never seen those little disks before and I hang quite a few plates so thank you for expanding my world. :) I've missed your blog! What happened to your mom's apartment??
