Hallway

Hey!  Look at me!  I'm following through!  Here are my photos for the freshly painted hallway:

Can you even tell the difference with in the paint colors?

I'm still working on painting doors.

I'm thinking about changing the light fixture....you can't see it in these photos, but the fixture is very plain with a round cracked glass globe.  It's fine, but I've always wanted one of these:

And maybe a fun runner, like this:

Or this:

What do you think?

Nice choice in light fixtures--I've always wanted a Moravian star like that, too. I love the non-zebra runner, too.

Thanks, Linda! I think you should get yourself a star fixture too....we can be all chummy with our matching stars, then :)

I love the star AND the cute runner! I'm getting a little zebra-ed out, though. Your hallway looks so much nicer with the paint!

Yes! You are making progress! I just primed my final 2 doors (in the downstairs) today. Can't wait to be done!

Love that light fixture & the first runner...great colors!

The paint in the hall looks great! Love the star, and I think either runner would look gorgeous--just depends on the look you're going for.

It looks really good -- so fresh! I'm going to put in a vote for the non-zebra rug. The zebra one is fun, but you might get bored of it quickly.

Okay, Girls....

Ix-nay on the ebra-zay.

I just like those two rugs, but I'm really going to be at the mercy of TJ Maxx or Homegoods or Target because I'm not going to pay much for a hallway runner that (Kim's right) I'll get sick of :)

Hey, what happened to all your sidebar stuff?

Thirkellgirl said...

The sidebar stuff is back, but your background is gone and it's all spread out wider than normal (more white space). Just wanted you to know. Everybody else's blogs look ok to me today.

Your hallway looks awesome. Great place to look for rugs, that is where I have bought pretty much all of my rugs. I liked the antelope rugs too. Great light fixture! I wish we were making progress like you, we did buy stuff to level the garage floor this weekend though. . .

I don't know if you get emails from World Market, but all their rugs are on sale right now, many 50% off. I like their stuff. :)
